February’s Supplemental Security Income payment, worth up to $943, will go out to millions of beneficiaries in 18 days. The next SSI payments are scheduled to be distributed on Jan. 31. In three days, millions of Social Security recipients will receive their first monthly retirement checks of 2025. Social Security beneficiaries who were born from the 11th through the 20th of their respective birth months will receive a regular monthly check for January from the Social Security Administration on Jan.

Those who receive Social Security payments will see a bit of a change to their regularly scheduled payments for the first couple months of 2025. In particular, those receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) will receive their first payment of 2025 this Tuesday, the final day of 2024.

On Tuesday, the Supplemental Security Income check for January will be sent out to eligible recipients, with the payments worth up to $943 for individual filers.

We're nearly half way into January and another set of Social Security checks will soon be headed out to beneficiaries. The 2025 COLA increase is officially in place and recipients should see a 2.5% increase to their monthly payments.
