SpaceX Falcon 9 sets record with 28th launch, sends 28 Starlink satellites to orbit
It was a still early morning in Florida, but high over NASA's Kennedy Space Centre, history was in the making. SpaceX launched another group of Starlink satellites — quietly breaking its own reuse record in the process.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – SpaceX is targeting Tuesday, May 13 for a Falcon 9 launch of 28 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
The entirety of Brevard County was cloaked in rain, clouds and thunderstorms when SpaceX scrubbed the launch, National Weather Service radar indicated.
