The Brooklyn Nets would want more in return for trading Cam Johnson than they did in their prior trades, per Brian Windhorst of Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

The Nets lost Cam Johnson to an ankle injury during the final seconds of their win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

Cam Johnson would be a phenomenal player to add to the Hornets roster. He can shoot and drive, and he plays small forward. That's a position the Hornets could upgrade. He also played some of his college ball at UNC, so he's a bit of a local legend who won a national championship.

Specifically, the Kings are known to have had extensive talks with the Brooklyn Nets about small forward Cameron Johnson. There is an internal awareness that the roster needs to be improved, and the Johnson pursuit is just one of many avenues the Kings are known to be exploring.

Nets forward Cam Johnson has averaged 23.4 points per game in his first nine appearances this month while shooting 50% from the field, 44.3% from 3-point range and 87.7% from the free throw line.
