Authorities are searching for a man who fled from police as officers responded to an armed robbery at an Arlington business last week.

Police on Monday released details and asked the public for tips after an armed robbery last month at a central Lubbock convenience store.

According to the Arlington Police Department, officers responded at approximately 6:46 p.m. Friday to reports of an armed robbery in the 600 block of W. Pioneer Parkway. A passerby called 911 and reported seeing two individuals who were possibly armed enter the business, police said.

IMPERSONATING to commit a crime is not uncommon. Almost every now and then, we tend to hear of crimes committed by impersonators out there.

Officers discovered that several employees had their hands and legs bound with tape and safely removed them from the business unharmed.
