Parking is a nightmare at this park. What is supposed to be a 6 minute drive from where we started, it took about an hour to get to and find a place to park. Drivers grind to a halt on SW Kingston … Full review by NeoWasHere

Nice relaxing trails through woodlands, with a very impressive rose garden and some good views over the city. Pleasant way to get away from traffic. Full review by WymeswoldOFB

We found the park by chance on our way to the Portland Japanese Gardens. The aroma was unforgettable. We smelled the roses before we entered the park. So many beautiful roses overlooking the city.… Full review by CountryGal5759

There is (as others have mentioned) the Cascade Grill at the zoo - which is mostly Burgers and hot dog fair. It's quite tasty and the atmosphere is nice inside the wood-decorated building. The Japanese Garden has a small tea house with light fair. It can be kind of spendy and is more of an experience in my opinion than a place to dine. My recommendation is to pack some water and snacks for your visit. Once tired from your excursions (so much walking!) Exit the park and go to either Verde Cocina, which is West on 26, or head East in to the city where you can find multiple food options on 23rd North of Burnside.
