This are great trails and the views are amazing. Some trails are not easy to follow and could use more signage. Definitely download an app. There are no facilities. Entrance is free. Full review by RobertK158

Is this usually hikeable without snowshoes in late february? The forecast says it should be around mid 40s but i'm not sure if the snow would have melted by then
A:
We did it in late September, right after some snow (not a lot) and had no problems. You will be able to see what it looks like from below.

I've seen kids hiking with adults on the trail. As far as they enjoy the hike and you feel safe for them. At some points, the trail is not clear so make sure not let them wonder off the trail, especially on the way back. We're 2 adults and on the way back, we're confused sometimes to be sure we could get back the right trail leading to parking lot where we started. Notice the colors marked on the trees to follow the right trail (there are different trails marked by color on the map). Phone might not work so if this is your first time and not have much hiking experience, bright enough water, and let someone else know that you and kids are on this hike and expected return time. Have fun.
