The Pier is absolutely beautiful! The view is stunning. We were able to walk down to the pier during breaks from class. I left Oceanside feeling rejuvenated and rested. Full review by Dusty J

Ruby’s Diner has burned down. It is so sad to see the ruins at the end of Oceanside Pier. Otherwise, the trip there was lovely! Full review by amydS4316NA

Any recommendations for restaurants that would be open on December 25th for dinner?

Call any of the hotels in the area for their recommendations on most likely to be open. Try calling the wyndham

Hi! Can you tell me if the construction going on next door to the Wyndham was an issue?

The construction seemed isolated and was not a problem in getting to the pier or surrounding businesses.

Any restaurants walking distance?
A:
There is a restaurant at the end of the pier. We did not walk around the area near the pier so I am not sure what else is close.

Is there a bench to sit in, or should we bring our own chairs??
A:
There are benches along the walk but it does get crowded (so you may want your own chairs for a guaranteed spot) As for the beach you will want chairs or towels.
