Ohatchee is a town in Calhoun County, Alabama, United States. At the 2020 census, the population was 1,157. It is included in the Anniston–Oxford, Alabama Metropolitan Statistical Area. Lyncoya Jackson was orphaned by the Battle of Tallushatchee in November 1813 and later sent to Jackson's Hermitage in Tennessee where he was raised. Lyncoya died of tuberculosis in 1828.
