Much like Roblox, Monstercat’s vision is to empower a creative and passionate community of artists and fans through innovation. This is the first of many exciting collaborative opportunities we hope to do with Monstercat in order to power creativity and imagination together!
There are plenty of discussions on this topic already, but being an older Monstercat fan is a key factor in being unsatisfied over time with the label as it 'evolves'.
Frontier - Monstercat is underwater and in front of him is a shipwreck. Endeavor - Monstercat is climbing up a mountain. Altitude - Monstercat is paragliding on top of mountains. On the bottom left corner near the observatory, Monstercat's ship and a camping grounds reference the first 4 albums released in 2011.
Why so many old school Monstercat artists left the label, changed or tranistioned into something else ? What happened to old school Monstercat artists like Tristam, Rogue, Fractal, Splitbreed, Au5, Pegboard Nerds a lot of artists have left is this normal ?

I'm super thankful for the community and the Monstercat team for bringing me in and truly making me feel at home on the label. Especially big thanks to Jonathan (Going Quantum) on the Monstercat team for always believing in my music and the concepts I have, and Audrius (audr_im) for the big support with anything art-related.
Recently things have been going on in the background. If you check Spotify, his songs Flight, Truth and Undercat switched art covers and are now owned by Onyx Four. Still unclear whether it's a new label or artist name but pretty big songs to take away from Monstercat. Also Tristam was removed from Monstercat's Spotify playlists so something is up.
i was a regular on monstercat's twitch chat from 2016 to 2018, and could definitely curate a playlist full of songs i heard most often back then (including like six tracks each from 005 and 006), so seeing this is bittersweet, but at the same time, it makes sense.
